Welcome Parents!! "If you walk with purpose, you will collide with destiny". My life purpose and passion has always been towards influencing youth. I believe one of the best ways to do that is to empower the adults that influence youth because if they are influenced positively and increasing their ability to lead, then they will influence others to do the same. I am here to add value to others to make a difference, with people who want to make a difference, doing something that will make a difference in the lives of others.
Hi my name is Melanie Fusilier. I am a former Teen Leadership teacher, founder of 3P Leads, creator of Purposeful Parenting Program Guidebook and Growth Plan, Certified Nick Vujicic-Youth Leadership Trainer and Certified John Maxwell Team Coach, Trainer, and Speaker. I am also a believer, wife and mother of 3 kids and I am very excited to share my wisdom, and grow as a parent along side you on our parenting journey.
My Community
As a mom, I realized that I needed a tribe. In one of the most life changing books, "The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth", my mentor, John Maxwell, says, "your potential is determined by who you are closest to." Your comments and questions provide us with the encouragement we all need. Environment is important and if you want to reach success you must surround yourself with others who have reached success or are actively striving for it.

In the midst of loading the dishwasher, folding laundry, breaking up fights, arranging play dates, many parents can feel overwhelmed and get lost. Feeling pressure to do everything "right" and raise up "good" children, it's easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose as parents in the quest for practical tips and guaranteed formulas. Let's get the conversation going about the big-picture view of God's plan for us as parents. I believe we need the rescuing grace of God—grace that has the power to shape how we view everything we do as parents. Freed from the burden of trying to manufacture life-change in our children's hearts, we can embrace a grand perspective of parenting overflowing with vision, purpose, and joy. We are a group of parents who want to stay connected, be intentional about our growth and "walk with purpose so we can collide with destiny." My mentor John C. Maxwell said, "If you want to reach your potential and become the person you were created to be, you must do much more than just experience life and hope that you learn what you need along the way. You must go out of your way to seize growth opportunities as if your future depended on it." Behind your relationship with Jesus, nothing is more important in your life than being a parent. That is why I started this group. I have a heart and passion for youth and in order to influence our youth it starts with us parents. We are the ones shaping their hearts and minds so let's do it with intention. At Parents Pursuing Purpose our desire is to help all Parents who believe that they have a huge responsibility to parent their children with purpose.
